MTV Sets Premiere Date for Pauly D's 'Jersey Shore' Spinoff Following Revamped 'Punk'd'
“The Pauly D Project” debuts Thursday, March 29 following the prank show, to be hosted by Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and more.
Jersey Shore’s Pauly D is heading from the Shore Store to DJ stardom on The Pauly D Project, premiering March 29 at 10:30 p.m. on MTV.
The Shore spinoff will follow the Rhode Island native as he navigates the music industry, accompanying Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour and signing with 50 Cent’s G-Note Records. All the while, Pauly D learns to balance fame, family and the constant photo shoots, public appearances and interviews that have become a valuable part of his everyday life. The 31-year-old will be joined by his childhood pals Michael “Biggie” Morgan, Gerard “Big Jerry” Gialanella, Ryan Labbe and Jason “JROC” Craig on the 12-episode series.

The Pauly D Project will air following a re-vamped version of Ashton Kutcher’s pop culture phenomenon Punk’d at 10 p.m. The reality prank show will be hosted by a different celebrity each week, including Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kellan Lutz, Hayden Panettiere, Bam Margera and Dax Shepard, though the official line-up has not yet been finalized. Among the Hollywood victims to be featured this season are Khloe Kardashian Odom, Teen Wolf’s Tyler Poser, Demi Lovato and more.
Punk’d is executive produced by Katalyst’s Jason Goldberg and Kutcher.
