'Jersey Shore': Season 4 Premiere Set, Season 5 Moves Forward

The popular MTV reality series will launch its new season on Thursday, Aug. 4.
MTV has set the Season 4 premiere date for its biggest hit, Jersey Shore, for Thursday, Aug. 4 at 10 p.m.
The cable network, heading into a big weekend with the MTV Movie Awards and its Teen Wolf reboot, also announced that production on the fifth season of Jersey Shore will begin later this month in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
The cast, led by Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, is filming the fourth season in Florence, Italy, introducing an international flavor to the franchise.
An hourlong special will also air Thursday, July 28 at 10 p.m., chronicling the rise of Jersey Shore from its inception.
