Jimmy Kimmel Airs NBA-Themed 'Mean Tweets' (Video)
Dwight Howard and Jeremy Lin are among the basketball stars reading (and responding to) the mean messages written by regular folks on Twitter.
Jimmy Kimmel presented a special NBA-themed edition of his popular "Mean Tweets" segment on Sunday night.
In a primetime special that aired on ABC timed to the NBA Finals, the late-night host brought on basketball stars such as Dwight Howard and Jeremy Lin to take part in the segment, which typically finds celebrities reading mean messages written by regular folks on Twitter.
For his part, Lin had a pretty funny comeback for the person who tweeted out the typo-filled message: "Jermy lin need to git the weight room."
Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night aired at 7 p.m. ET and following ABC's telecast of the NBA Finals' Game 5 on the West Coast. The San Antonio Spurs beat the Miami Heat to secure the NBA championship.
