Justin Bieber's Life Story May Become ABC Comedy Series
The single-camera vehicle is described as a family show inspired by the singer's unconventional upbringing before he was famous.
ABC is looking for a piece of Justin Bieber's popularity.
The network is teaming with the musical phenom for a sitcom based on his home life, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The single-camera comedy, which has landed a script commitment from the network, first was eyed during the 2011 development cycle as a multicamera project.

The untitled comedy is described as a family show inspired by Bieber's unconventional upbringing -- he was raised by his mother and grandparents -- and centers on a teenage music prodigy.
From ABC Studios, the comedy counts Bieber and his manager -- and 2011 THR Next Gen recipient -- Scooter Braun as executive producers. Matt Wolpert (Entourage, My Name Is Earl) and Ben Nedivi (Entourage, Wicked Little Things) are attached to write the script.
TV Guide magazine first reported the news.
