Kocktails with Khloe won’t lack for subject matter.

On Jan. 20, the youngest Kardashian sister will launch her own late night talk show on A+E’s fledgling FYI network. On the weekly show, she'll be joined by celebrity guests (friends and family) in the kitchen and around the table for a dinner party filled with cooking, conversation and, yes, outrageous drinking games.

In an appearance before the Television Critics Association Wednesday, Kardashian and producer Craig Piligian said Kocktails will be filmed two days ahead of air, leaving very little time for editing. If all goes as they've planned, it also should allow the dinner party conversation to stay fresh and current, with Kardashian and her guests talking about of-the-moment topics.

The cameras on the series will be hidden, too, which will encourage Kardashian's guests — often, three to four guests per show — to let their hair down and have “gritty, raw” conversation. (They will reveal the guest list and episode themes closer to air.) The host added with a laugh: "And a few glasses of alcohol, you kind of forget their cameras are there.”

Kardashian suggested this show would differ from her family's E! series in that this one will not focus solely on the Kardashians but rather on friends and other subjects. To that end, she doesn’t foresee any topic being off-limits, including updates on her ex Lamar Odom. “It’s such a conversational show [and Lamar's health] does come up because it’s my life,” she said. Though Kardashian declined to go into detail about the former NBA star’s current condition, she said he was doing “amazing.”

As for her family’s role in the forthcoming FX series, The People v. O.J. Simpson, Kardashian kept it positive. “I’d definitely like to see it,” she said, telling the room how her mother is more invested having worked with David Schwimmer (who plays Robert Kardashian) and Selma Blair (who plays Kris). In fact, Jenner and Blair have grown so tight the actress attended the family’s Christmas Eve party. "However they want to portray us is fine," she added, "I still want to see it."
