The Killing is adding major characters for the fourth and final season on Netflix.

Sterling Beaumon (Red Widow), Levi Meaden (The 100) and Tyler Ross (Amazon's Zombieland) have joined the crime drama as series regulars, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

They join Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman, who reprise their roles as Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder, for the last six episodes of the former AMC series.

STORY: 'The Killing' Revived Again at Netflix

The Killing's fourth season "will serve as a conclusion" to the story, Netflix promised in the November release. When the show picks back up, the new mystery will revolve around an all-boys military academy located outside of Seattle.

Beaumon will play Lincoln Knopf, a deeply troubled boy who wears his anger and instability on his sleeve. He has a specific hatred toward women -- anger that seems as through it may erupt at any moment.

Meaden has been cast as the charismatic and attractive A.J. Fielding, an overachieving student who thrives at the academy, where students and administrators regard him as a leader and success story.

STORY: How the Killing Came Back from the Dead

Ross will play Cameron Stansbury, the black sheep of his wealthy, well-connected family, and a gentle soul who has been battered most of his life by the competitive, dog-eat-dog world of Seattle's best and brightest.

The Killing was revived by Netflix last November, just months after AMC canceled the show for the second time. The cabler had first axed it in 2012 following two acclaimed seasons. The Killing's third season opened to a steady 1.8 million viewers and generally positive reviews in June 2013, but it saw its ratings dip over the course of the 12 episodes. It wrapped with 1.5 million viewers, making the season relatively flat year over year.

Creator Veena Sud is back at the helm as showrunner/executive producer of the Fox TV Studios production, which is based on Danish series Forbrydelsen. Production begins later this month.

Beaumon is repped by APA, Vanguard Management and Gang Tyre Ramer & Brown. Meaden is repped by Carrie Wheeler, Vanguard Management and Stone, Meyer, Genow, Smelkinson & Binder. Ross is repped by Paradigm, New Wave and Peikoff/Mahan.
