Kim Kardashian Strikes Back at Jon Hamm for 'Careless' Insults
The E! reality star and burgeoning actress defends herself after the "Mad Men" star trashed her in a recent interview.
E! reality star and burgeoning actress Kim Kardashian is striking back at Mad Men star Jon Hamm after he voiced his confusion over the public’s fascination with the star’s “stupidity” and referred to her as a “f—king idiot” in a recent Elle UK interview.
“I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview,” Kardashian writes on Twitter.
“I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life,” she continues. “We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”
This isn’t the first time Kardashian has been the subject of celebrity commentary on the viewing culture, her body of work, or even the first time she’s shared headlines with the AMC show.

Oscar-nominee and recent SNL ratings dropper Jonah Hill told The Huffington Post in December, "The fact that the Kardashians could be more popular than a show like Mad Men is disgusting, it's super disgusting to be a part of that culture."
As of late, Kardashian has been parlaying the success of her family’s suite of E! reality series into several TV appearances including CBS’ CSI: NY and ABC’s Last Man Standing. She takes a much bigger leap into acting with a supporting role on Tyler Perry’s upcoming film The Marriage Counselor and a recurring role on the upcoming season of Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva.
