Kim Kardashian Confesses 'I'm Just Not Happy' on 'Kourtney & Kim Take New York'
After admitting that she didn't miss her husband during a recent trip to Dubai, the reality star admits that her marriage was a rushed mistake on the E! series.
Spoiler alert: Things aren’t looking good for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries marriage on Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Please read my sarcasm.
After running off to Dubai in the last episode where Kim confessed to her mom that things weren’t feeling right in her marriage and she wasn’t excited to return to Kris (by the way, I’m fully aware of the allegations that scene was faked), she drops a bigger bombshell to sister, Khloe Kardashian.
The two had been feuding for weeks now on the show ever since Kim wrote Khloe a nasty email calling her all kinds of horrific names – a slight overreaction for being woken up too early, don’t you think? After delivering a couple lukewarm apologies that Khloe wouldn’t accept, Kim decided to have a heart to heart with her sister alone to explain her behavior at the end of the episode.
“I don't like who I am in this marriage,” she said of the cause for her behavior. “I don't like who I am to him. I don't like who I am to myself… My gut and my heart are telling me that I did this too fast and I didn't know what I was doing.”
She later adds, “I think I got caught up in the fairy tale of it. It all seemed so great and happy, but I'm just not happy.”
Kim had been acting distant with Kris since she returned from Dubai. And it seemed as if neither of them were able to voice how they were feeling in a constructive way. Kim nagged him about his messy closet and like a spoiled child, he just aggravated her by making more of a mess. For her part, Kim invited him to hang out with her and publicist friend Jonathan Cheban, but Kris didn’t want to go. Of course, after Kris accused him of being gay and wouldn't let it go despite his denials, Jonathan was more than happy to leave Kris behind.
It seemed that the straw that broke the camel’s back was when she went to him for advice on how to deal with her ongoing fight with Khloe. He shrugged it off as typical sibling conflict that would resolve itself in a week. It didn’t help things that he admitted he hated Khloe.
After Kim tearfully told Khloe what was going on with her bitchy behavior, the younger sister said that maybe Kim needs to deal with the fact that marriage isn’t always “rainbows” and that she may need to give it more time.
“Do you want to see how things are once you get to L.A.?” Khloe asks, but later says, “You have to live your life for you.”
Well, we know how things worked out after the show wrapped, but we have a couple weeks more of this runaway train that is Kim and Kris’ failed marriage still to play out on our small screens. Are you hanging around for what’s sure to be the big crash on the Jan. 29 finale?
