Ambrose will star as Eileen, a type-A married mother to a young son. She is always organized, prepared, polished and determined. Eileen is one of the four
Boston Police Academy graduates, now a rookie on the force.
Married to a recently wounded police officer, she is the daughter of a distinguished councilman and comes from a law enforcement pedigree and a proud Irish family of cops. She puts a ton of pressure on herself to be the best because of her sterling family history, balancing her new job with being a good wife and mother, which all threatens to crack her poised exterior and bring turmoil to her home life. Eager to prove her mettle on the streets, she will learn the hard way that being the best at the academy, doesn't mean anything on the streets of Boston.

She joins a cast that includes True Blood's Rutina Wesley, Charlotte Spencer and Cody Horn, who play the other three cops the drama revolves around.
