'Project Accessory' First Look With Host Molly Sims and Guest Judge Debra Messing (Video)
The "Project Runway" spinoff premieres Thursday on Lifetime.
Who would’ve thought an entire series could be built around accessories? Apparently, Lifetime did. Its Project Runway spinoff premieres Thursday at 10:30 p.m. and the network’s banking that the multi-billion dollar accessory business translates into a hit series.
Hosted by supermodel turned mogul, Molly Sims, the series pits 12 contestants against each other as they try to out bobble, out shine, and out dazzle each other in a series of accessory design challenges.
In The Hollywood Reporter’s sneak peeks above, Sims is joined by the contestants' mentor, lifestyle expert Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti, and judges designer Kenneth Cole and InStyle Editor, Ariel Foxman. Plus, Will & Grace’s Debra Messing (who’s starring in the upcoming NBC show, Smash) will guest judge on Thursday’s premiere.
