Logo Adds Sex Addicts, Socialites and More Drag Queens
Viacom’s gay and lesbian themed network Logo announced Monday that it is adding two new series and four returning productions to its lineup.
The former, Sex Rx, and a Dallas iteration of The A-List, will join previously announced originals, Setup Squad (premiering April 25), Pretty Hurts (May 9) and returning offering Be Good Johnny Weir (fall) on the cable network’s fall schedule. Rx, produced by Julie Pizzi and Patty Ivins Specht, will bring viewers inside a sex treatment group that tackles sex addiction, dysfunction and infidelity troubles during 10 hour-long episodes; while A-List, from True Entertainment, will bring a franchise about gay men and straight women, already popular in New York, to Texas in 11 hour-long editions.
“Logo continues to extend our lane of unique, provocative programming that not only engages our trend-defining audience but gets them talking on all our platforms,” said Logo’s Senior Vice President Original Programming Dave Mace.
The net is set to bring back The A-List: New York, the net’s top-rated series RuPaul’s Drag Race and its companion Untucked: RuPaul’s Drag Race. Also returning to Logo’s schedule in 2012 is its NewNowNext Awards.
