The drama's current eight-episode season will be its last, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. ABC Family has already started touting the remaining episodes of the season as a lead-up to the series finale, scheduled to air May 14.

Creator Holly Sorensen confirmed the cancellation on Twitter, writing: "MIOBI nation. We all love you so much. And we are, very sadly, three weeks away from the series finale of #miobi."

The cable network renewed Make It or Break It last September and launched it in time for the start of Olympic fever.

ABC Family will roll out several new scripted and unscripted fare, including Bunheads, Baby Daddy and Beverly Hills Nannies.
