Matt Damon Returns to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' Gets Labeled a 'Stupid Man' (Photo)
The actor receives a surprise visit from Kimmel's security guard, Guillermo Rodriguez, months after hijacking the show from his nemesis.
Jimmy Kimmel is getting his revenge on Matt Damon.
Seven months after the actor took over nemesis Kimmel's late-night show, the host sent his security guard, Guillermo Rodriguez, to surprise Damon while he was promoting his new movie, Elysium.
As seen in Monday night's episode, Rodriguez crashes an interview Damon is doing and proceeds to display key art for his own "movie," Estupido, featuring the tagline "A stupid man…who is stupid."
As you can tell from this photo, Damon is not happy.
Damon and Kimmel have a long-standing "feud" that dates back to when Kimmel first started his talk show and began signing off with the line "Apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time" -- the joke being that none of his guests possessed the star power of Damon.
In January, the actor took control of Kimmel's show, starting with the credits -- the ABC show's title was tweaked to Jimmy Kimmel Sucks, and the host's visage had been defaced -- and continuing through the monologue, guest interviews and conclusion.
"Welcome to tonight's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Sucks. I am your host, Matt Damon," he said. "Let me ask you this: As an audience, is it weird to see a person with actual talent host this show?"
He also recruited a lineup of all stars to appear, all of whom proceeded to roast Kimmel, who remained bound and gagged throughout the hour.
Jimmy Kimmel Live airs at 11:35 p.m. weeknights on ABC.
