Matthew Weiner appears to be assembling a Mad Men reunion of sorts. The creator of the hit AMC drama has cast alums Christina Hendricks and John Slattery in his upcoming Amazon anthology series, The Romanoffs, along with Oscar nominee Isabelle Huppert.

Created, written, directed and executive produced by Weiner, The Romanoffs will also star Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Amanda Peet (Togetherness) and Marthe Keller (Marathon Man). The Weinstein Television series is set around the globe featuring separate stories about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in March, the showrunner revealed details about The Romanoffs, namely that it would be eight stand-alone episodes and would film around the world. When asked if Mad Men stars might pop up on the show, Weiner hinted that might be the case. "I definitely would not rule that out," he said at the time.

The trio's roles in the anthology — which is set to debut on the streamer next year — are being kept under wraps. Huppert most recently starred in Elle, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. Hendricks and Slattery are best known for their roles on Mad Men as Joan Holloway and Roger Sterling, respectively.

Huppert is repped by CAA, Voyez Mon Agent and Media Vision Artists. Hendricks is with ICM, Independent Talent, LINK Entertainment and Hirsch Wallerstein. Slattery is repped by Gersh.
