TBS Orders Breckin Meyer's 'Men at Work' to Series
The cable network has given the go-ahead on 10 episodes, to launch in the summer.
TBS is moving forward with the new buddy comedy series Men at Work from Breckin Meyer.
The cable network has given the greenlight on 10 episodes, scheduled to premiere in the summer.
Led by That '70s Show star Danny Masterson, the multicamera sitcom centers on the adventures of four friends who work together at a magazine. Masterson plays the recently dumped Milo, whose friends help him try to get back into the dating game.
James Lesure (as photographer and ladies' man Gibbs), Michael Cassidy (as Tyler, a features writer) and Adam Busch (as Neal, a reporter with a steady girlfriend) co-star in the Sony TV and Fanfare production.
Joining Meyer, who stars on TNT's Franklin & Bash and created the series, Jamie Tarses and Julia Franz serve as executive producers. The pilot, written by Meyer, is directed by Mark Cendrowski.
"Men at Work is an extremely funny adult comedy that mines humor from the unique, occasionally wrong ways men behave and interact as they face the challenges of life in the 21st century," said Michael Wright, executive vice president and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies. "We're thrilled to have these guys in our corner."
