'Mindy Project' EP Sells Marriage Comedy to Fox
Forget Super Fun Night. Fox is looking to pack as much fun into the weekends as it can with comedy 48 Hours Until Monday.
The single-camera comedy hails from The Mindy Project EP Charlie Grandy and landed at Fox with a script plus penalty commitment, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
48 Hours is a show about one husband's desperate struggle to not let every weekend go completely to hell.

Grandy will pen the script and executive produce the Universal Television comedy via Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan's studio-based TBD Productions banner.
In addition to Fox's The Mindy Project, Grandy's credits include creating and exec producing NBC's Guys With Kids. He was a co-EP on The Office, a writer-producer for SNL's Weekend Update and started his career on The Daily Show.
TBD is repped by UTA and attorney Ken Richman; Grandy is with UTA and attorney PJ Shapiro.
Fox currently airs two comedies from Universal Television: Mindy and the second season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
