Modern Family is getting a dose of the NBA.

The long-running ABC comedy has booked Inside the NBA analyst Charles Barkley and Los Angeles Clippers player DeAndre Jordan for guest spots. The pair will star as themselves in the episode, which will air in late January.

For their part in the show, Barkley and Jordan will be attending a charity basketball game that Phil (Ty Burrell) has been training all year for in an attempt to redeem himself after a disastrous turn at the previous year's game.  When they both start getting a little too involved, Phil tries to not buckle under the pressure.

The 20th Century Fox TV-produced series broke new ground earlier this year when it cast 8-year-old Jackson Millarker, the first openly transgender child actor.

Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
