Moonlight's Andre Holland is headed to Castle Rock.

The actor has been tapped as the lead in the Hulu anthology from J.J. Abrams and Stephen King, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Castle Rock is a 10-episode drama from writers and exec producers Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason (Manhattan). It's described as an anthology that weaves together characters and themes from King's novels, featuring the mysterious town of Castle Rock. The psychological-horror series combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King's works, weaving a saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.

Holland will play Henry, a death row attorney with a unique and complicated history in Castle Rock, Maine.

For Holland, Castle Rock marks his latest small-screen role following the most recent season of FX anthology American Horror Story and starring opposite Clive Owen in Cinemax's The Knick. He next has a co-starring role in Ava DuVernay's A Wrinkle in Time, set to bow in March.

Shaw and Thomason developed the Warner Bros. Television drama for TV and exec produce alongside Abrams and his Bad Robot topper Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer. Production will begin this year. A premiere date has not yet been determined.

Holland is repped by CAA, Anonymous Content and Del Shaw.
