'On Air With Ryan Seacrest's' Ellen K to Narrate TLC's 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' Series (Exclusive)
The radio and voiceover talent lends her voice to both the over-the-top UK and American versions of the cable network's series.
Ellen K will be lending her voice to the gypsies. TLC has signed the On Air With Ryan Seacrest co-host to narrate its upcoming season of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and its new stateside spinoff, My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding.

'“It’s the best ever. I’m having so much fun,” Ellen K tells The Hollywood Reporter of the new gig. “I had my expectations – it’s exceeding them.”
Both the UK and American versions of the series capture the unique lifestyles and over-the-top rituals and wedding customs of Gypsies and Travellers who have lived in relative secrecy until now.
“The drama and the celebrations and the over-the-top stuff happening speaks for itself,” Ellen K says of the series. “So, it’s been a real learning process for me and it’s been really fun and eye-opening.”

Aside from co-hosting On Air With Ryan Seacrest on L.A.'s KIIS FM, Ellen K appears nightly on KTLA’s “Inside Hollywood” segment. She’s also the broadcast voice of The Grammy Awards, the SAG Awards, and the American Music Music Awards. In May, she’ll receive her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding returns to TLC on Friday, March 23 at 10 p.m. And its U.S. spinoff, My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, makes its series debut in the spring.
Both series are produced by Firecracker Films.
