The guys show off their new place, but the study group have a hard time with the "reality" of the situation.

New roommates, Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi), throw a housewarming party on Thursday’s episode of Community, titled "Remedial Chaos Theory," airing at 8 p.m. on NBC. And The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive preview from the episode.

Creator and executive producer Dan Harmon told fans at San Diego Comic-Con this past summer that the series would play with alternate realities. That time has arrived and may foil all the preparation Troy and Abed have put into throwing a housewarming party that’s by the book.

In THR’s sneak peek clip below, Troy welcomes Jeff (Joel McHale) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) to “Chez Tro-bed” and they don’t exactly react to the new digs as he would’ve wanted.

Community airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
