Neil Patrick Harris poked fun at how he sounded on Doogie Howser, M.D. during his appearance on CBS' The Late Late Show With James Corden.

"The entire thing, I sound like I was in The Wizard of Oz or something," said the actor, who shot four seasons of the comedy in which he played a teenage doctor. Harris was 16 years old when production began on the ABC series.

Harris, whose new variety show Best Time Ever premieres this fall, also noted that his odd articulation, paired with his munchkin-like pitch, turned into a "creepy" voice that resembled a James Cagney character.

"But finally, my testicles dropped, and I feel much better!" he joked.
