Netfix's 'Orange Is the New Black': 'Just Like the Hamptons' -- Only Horrible (Video)
The streaming service has released the trailer and key art for the comedic drama from "Weeds" creator Jenji Kohan.
After its recent launch of Arrested Development, Netflix next heads to prison with Weeds creator Jenji Kohan for original scripted entry Orange Is the New Black, releasing the official trailer and key art for the series.
The comedic drama stars Taylor Schilling as a Brooklyn resident named Piper who winds up behind bars after her decade-old personal and business relationship with drug runner Alex (That '70s Show's Laura Prepon) comes to light.
The series follows Piper's life as she swaps the comfort of her life in Brooklyn -- complete with her husband-to-be Larry (Jason Biggs) -- for an orange jumpsuit in prison, where she is tasked with creating alliances with the rest of the inmates.
"It's just like the Hamptons -- only f---ing horrible," Natasha Lyonne's inmate tells Piper.
Orange will be available July 11 on Netflix. Watch the trailer, below, and hit the comments with your thoughts. Will you watch?
