Previewing the February episodes ahead, the newly renewed freshman drama also features Arrow going after his mother, Moira, and the burning of his precious book.

Judging from the looks of the new action-packed trailer for the CW's Arrow, February is going to be a big month for the newly renewed drama.

In slightly less than two minutes, there are several big reveals for things to come on the Stephen Amell starrer:

1. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Oliver wind up in bed together.

2. Laurel's father, Detective Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), turns to Oliver for help when his daughter is kidnapped.

3. That kidnapping may not be all it appears to be, as the dogged detective may have a plan of his own to catch Arrow.

4. The jig may be up for Ollie's mother, Moira (Susanna Thompson), when she becomes the latest to hear Arrow's "You have failed this city."

5. It's death or escape on the island as Ollie teams with Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) as he begins to transform into the hero of Starling City that we've come to know.
