It's Official: CBS Orders Jon Favreau Comedy to Pilot
The "Iron Man" director will write and exec produce "Tweaked," which chronicles life and dating among single parents in Santa Monica.
CBS is officially in the Jon Favreau business.
The network has picked up the Iron Man helmer's single-camera comedy Tweaked, ordering a pilot of the project that chronicles life and dating among single parents in Santa Monica.

The comedy hails from CBS TV Studios and marks the Cowboys & Aliens director/executive producer's second project and first comedy this development season. Favreau will write and executive produce the project.
In addition to Tweaked, ABC has given a put pilot commitment to Ex-Comm, an hourlong sci-fi White House procedural from 20th Television and K/O Paper Products that Favreau will direct and executive produce.
Ex-Comm reteams Favreau with Cowboys & Aliens' Roberto Orci, who is attached to write the drama that revolves around a newly elected president and his top-secret executive committee (aka Ex-Comm), the government's covert team of America's most elite minds who investigate and protect the nation.

Favreau will direct and executive produce alongside Orci, Michael Dougherty and Seth Green, who will pen the project. Orci's writing and producing partner, Alex Kurtzman, will serve as an executive producer on the project along with Heather Kadin (Fox's failed pilot Exit Strategy) and Green's Robot Chicken colleague Matt Senreich.
Favreau is repped by CAA and Jackoway Tyerman. He's currently prepping Magic Kingdom for Disney.
