'Once Upon a Time' Finds its Cinderella in 'Falling Skies' Actress
Jessy Schram joins the ABC drama for an episode as the famous fairy tale character.
Turns out Cinderella’s glass slipper is a perfect fit for Jessy Schram.
As first reported by Zap2It, the Falling Skies actress has been cast as the famed fairy tale character in ABC’s upcoming Snow White tale Once Upon a Time, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Schram is slated to appear in one episode of the drama.
From Lost writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the drama revolves around Snow White/Sister Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming/John Doe (Josh Dallas) and tells the story of how their long-lost daughter Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is brought from the “real world” to Storybrooke in an attempt to free the famed fairy tale characters from a curse from the Evil Queen/Regina (Lana Parrilla), that leaves trapped in time, unable to age and unaware of who they really are.

Kitsis and Horowitz said this month at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour in Beverly Hills that other characters from Disney’s storied fairy tale universe would be likely to appear in the dual-universe drama and that Once would explore the characters’ back stories.
“We’re more interested in why the Evil Queen hates Snow White; why Grumpy is Grumpy,” Kitsis said. “We love the idea of going back and forth [between the two universes] and informing what the character wants in life.”
On Falling Skies, Schram plays Karen, the girlfriend of Tom Mason’s (Noah Wyle) son Hal (Drew Roy). Her credits also include Life, The Mentalist and Veronica Mars.
