'Once Upon a Time' Sneak Peek: Emma and Ruby Uncover an Unexpected Crime (Video)
In a new clip from Sunday's midseason premiere, the identity of Storybrooke's newest victim causes waves.
[Warning: Spoilers ahead for Sunday's midseason return.]
Uh oh, this doesn't bode well.
In a new sneak peek of ABC's Once Upon a Time return episode "The Cricket Game," airing Sunday, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Ruby (Meghan Ory) stumble upon an unexpected crime scene. Who in Storybrooke is unlucky enough to be the victim?
It's town doc Archie Hopper (Raphael Sbarge), otherwise known as Jiminy Cricket in fairy-tale land.

Questions like who, why and when start to surface as the two attempt to make sense of the crime. Who would commit such an act? "I think I know," Ruby says.
But Emma's day doesn't start off so grim and uneasy; in her effort to be the mom to Henry she hadn't been for years, mother and son enjoy some diner food before they make the walk to the school bus stop. "Emma's trying to figure out what is her role as a mother," executive producer Edward Kitsis said of her new role. Like everything in Storybrooke, however, the pleasant things in life don't last very long.
The scene also features one of the episode's funnier moments between Ruby and Emma.
Who do you think Ruby is referring to?
Once Upon a Time returns 8 p.m. Jan. 6 on ABC.
