'Once Upon a Time': Kathryn's Disappearance Tests Emma's Intuition (Exclusive Video)

David's (Josh Dallas) enemies throw his innocence into question on the ABC series.

Storybrooke’s residents can’t leave the town or something bad will happen to them. That’s part of the curse on ABC’s Once Upon a Time and a lesson Kathryn (Anastasia Griffith) seemingly learned when she tried to leave on the last episode.

Now, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will have the biggest case of her very new career as the town’s sheriff.

“Kathryn’s disappearance is going to take up a lot of her time and test her emotionally,” Co-creator Edward Kitsis says of Emma’s investigation, which will span several episodes.

The next episode will also delve into dwarf Grumpy’s (Lee Arenberg) back-story and explain how he went from “Dreamy” to his current name with guest star Amy Acker (Dollhouse, Angel) playing a big role in that story.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
