'One Life to Live' Cast, Head Writer Ink Deals to Join Online Production

Ron Calivati and five actors from the ABC soap have agreed to continue with the show when it moves to the web next year.

The Online Network announced on Friday that One Life to Live's head writer and consulting producer Ron Calivati will continue with the show when it goes online at the beginning of next year. The deal is pending a WGA agreement.

Additionally, deals are in place for cast members Melissa Archer, Kelley Missal, Sean Ringgold, Andrew Trischitta and Jerry VerDorn to join Ted King, Michael Eason, Kassie DePaiva and Erika Slezak. The deals are pending a final agreement with AFTRA.

The Online Network will launch in January 2012, pending guild agreements.

Prospect Park announced earlier this year that it will bring the recently canceled All My Children and One Life to Live, which will air its final episode on ABC next year, online. It was also announced earlier this week that All My Children would debut in its new form in January on The Online Network, which will feature first-run programming including lifestyle shows, reality, as well as scripted comedy and drama fare.
