Oprah Winfrey to Make First Appearance on 'CBS This Morning'
The OWN helmer and TV host will reunite with best friend Gayle King on the network's revamped early news show on Monday.
Oprah Winfrey will be reuniting with her best friend and former OWN host, CBS This Morning’s Gayle King, when she sits down for her first-ever interview with the show on Monday.

King, along with co-hosts Charlie Rose and Erica Hill, will interview Winfrey at their New York City Studios on the state of her struggling cable network OWN, her leadership academy in South Africa and what life has been like after ending her 25-year-oild daily talk show last May.
As THR reported at the time King was officially announced as a co-host on the CBS morning show last November, network executives banked on the likelihood that her close relationship with Winfrey would translate into an appearance at some point.

'Winfrey will make the appearance at the same time she tapes the New York installment of her Oprah’s Lifeclass: The Tour series.
King, Rose, and Hill’s first full week in January at the revamped morning program saw a slight five percent gain in viewership over its predecessor The Early Show’s average in December.
