Orphan Black star Kristian Bruun, Sherry Miller and X-Men actor John Bourgeois have joined Jerry O'Connell and Sydney Tamiia Poitier in AXN's detective drama Carter.

They join the ensemble cast for the Sony Pictures Television Networks procedural as Canada's Bravo picks up 10 episodes of the series now shooting in northern Ontario. Carter stars O'Connell as Harley Mackay, a detective on a hit American TV show who is forced to return to his sleepy hometown after an embarrassing public meltdown in Hollywood.

Once back, Carter taps into his acting experience to become a real-life detective, partnering with longtime friend and no-nonsense veteran of the force Sam St. Clair (Poitier). Garry Campbell (MADtv) created and wrote the series, which was developed with writer John Tinker (Chicago Hope).

Amaze Film + Television is producing for AXN, with Sony Pictures Television Distribution handling U.S. and international sales of the series.

Bruun is represented by Amanda Rosenthal Talent, Don Buchwald & Associates and Gilbertson Entertainment.
