PaleyFest 2012: 'American Horror Story,' 'Mad Men' and 'Modern Family' to Be Spotlighted
The 29th annual television festival will take place next year from March 2-14.

The Paley Center for Media has announced the first participants of the 29th annual PaleyFest: The William S. Paley Television Festival, taking place next year from March 2-14.
FX's hit horror drama American Horror Story from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk will open the television festival. AMC's Mad Men returns to PaleyFest after being featured in its first season. ABC's Modern Family will close the fest; this marks the comedy's second visit.
Information on talent and creative teams will be announced later. Additional TV shows will be announced in the coming months.
PaleyFest will return to Beverly Hills' Saban Theatre. Premium passes, including tickets to each event, will go on sale Thursday, Dec. 8.
