'Empire,' 'AHS,' 'Black-ish,' Among Shows Headed to PaleyFest 2016

The Paley Center for Media has announced the first batch of honorees for its 33rd annual PaleyFest.

Set to participate in the March 11-20 annual showcase are Fox's Empire, which will kick off the festival, joined by Fox's not-yet-renewed horror-comedy Scream Queens; ABC's Black-ish; Starz's Power; and Ryan Murphy/Brad Falchuk's FX anthology American Horror Story: Hotel, the latter of which will again close out the festival. Newly minted AHS Golden Globe winner Lady Gaga is not currently scheduled to participate.

Additional series set to participate in the festival will be announced Jan. 19.

The festival will return to the Dolby Theatre. Tickets go on sale Jan. 14 (for members) and Jan. 15 (general public).
