Parks and Recreation's Rashida Jones and her Celeste & Jesse Forever writing partner Will McCormack are heading behind the scenes of the small screen.
The duo, who co-wrote the indie romantic comedy feature, have inked a two-year pod deal with Warner Bros. Television. Under the pact -- which marks the writing team's first pod deal -- the duo will develop, write and produce their own comedy and drama projects for both cable and network TV.

Jones and McCormack penned Celeste, which premiered last year at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to earn an Independent Spirit Award nomination for best first screenplay. Jones starred opposite Andy Samberg, with McCormack also playing one of the latter's friends. The pair are currently writing the Universal/Imagine feature Frenemy of the State.
On the small screen, Jones co-stars on NBC's Amy Poehler starrer Parks and Recreation, while McCormack has had arcs on In Plain Sight, Brothers & Sisters and Dirt. Jones and McCormack co-wrote and developed We Are Puppets for Showtime.
