'Party Down's' Ken Marino to Co-Star in ABC's Judy Greer Comedy Pilot (Exclusive)
The "Wanderlust" co-writer will play her husband, while "Mad TV's" Erica Ash has also joined the fish out of water project.
Ken Marino is heading to suburbia.
The Wanderlust co-writer has been tapped to co-star in American Judy, ABC's Judy Greer comedy pilot The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Greer stars as a cosmopolitan woman who gets married and becomes a fish out of water in the suburbs where she must juggle step-kids, her mother-in-law and the ex-wife of her husband, who also happens to be the town sheriff. Marino will play Greer's husband, Dean.
In addition to co-starring on Starz's cult hit Party Down, Marino's credits include Adult Swim's Childrens Hospital, Veronica Mars and Dawson's Creek. The Wet Hot American Summer star is repped by IFA Talent Agency, Principato-Young Entertainment and Paradigm.
Also cast in the project is Mad TV's Erica Ash (Buchwald/Fortitude), who will play Judy's L.A.-based friend Mia, who doesn't understand what her life in the 'burbs entails. Ash and Marino join a cast that includes Mimi Kennedy, Elaine Hendrix, Jadon Sand and Madison Lintz (The Walking Dead).
Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont will write and exec produce the project; Greer will produce.
