Patti Stanger Limits Her Statements on Gay Men and Monogamy to Los Angeles, Issues Apology
UPDATED: After causing a flurry of angry tweets, the reality star explains her comments referred to gay men in the Southern California city.
After Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger angered viewers with comments she made on Sunday night’s Watch What Happens: Live, she took to Twitter to explain her statements about gay men and their inability to be monogamous referred specifically to those who lived in Los Angeles.

“It's true LA gays toughest nuts to crack to monogamy!” she tweets. She then writes, “Attn male Gays: I support you & my comment on WWHL was to a LA guy who can't find commitment.”
That’s better, right? We’re not sure if that really helps her case, especially as she taunted New York resident and openly gay Watch What Happens: Live host Andy Cohen or as she referred to him, “you people.”
"I have tried to curb 'you people,'" she said to Cohen.
He replied, "I am a gay and am down for the monogamy.” To which, Stanger laughed. She also told Cohen, "You know this. You're gay."

Stanger has yet to address her comments asserting that Jewish men lie. Bravo did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
[Update 5:17 p.m. Stanger issued an apology, tweeting "Love you @joyvbehar for letting me get the record straight. So sorry to LA gays @glaad if I offended you. X0"]
