EXCLUSIVE PHOTO: Comic-Con 2011 First-Look: 'The Walking Dead'

Looks like playing hero runs in the Grimes family.

In a new image released exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter, Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) comes to the rescue as the survivors – shocker! – must weave their way through yet another confrontation with roamers.

This marks the second image from Season 2, which premieres in October, to be released. The first pic was a real eye-opener, no?

AMC offered a first-look trailer at Season 2 on Sunday with Rick really going to town on a zombie.

Writer/exec producer Robert Kirkman has said to expect more zombies in the woods and the shock of roamers around the corner.

What are you looking forward to?

The Walking Dead will hold its Comic-Con session Friday at 11:15 in Ballroom 20.
