USA Network Debuts First Trailer for 'Political Animals' (Video)
Sigourney Weaver toplines this summer's high-profile drama series from Greg Berlanti.
Boy, oh boy. The Hammonds are coming.
The No. 1 cable network, USA, rolled out the first footage from its high-profile summer drama event from Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark, Political Animals, on Thursday to advertisers in New York as part of its upfront presentation.
If the slick, nearly two-minute trailer is any indication: Washington, D.C. is about to get sexier, meaner and tougher.
STORY: Upfronts 2012 Winners and Losers
In the preview, the main players in the political series are spotlighted, including former First Lady and current Secretary of State Elaine Barrish (Sigourney Weaver), journalist Susan Berg (Carla Gugino) and her family (played by James Wolk, Sebastian Stan and Ciaran Hinds).
Likening herself to Cleopatra, Elizabeth I and Eleanor Roosevelt, Elaine isn't your typical politico.
Will Elaine get back into the presidential race?
"Politics and me, we're done."
Yea right.
