'Psych's' 100th Episode: Shawn and Gus Investigate a 'Clue' Mystery (Exclusive Video)
THR debuts a scene from Wednesday's landmark hour, featuring original castmembers from the 1985 film.
Psych is gearing up for its 100th episode.
In "100 Clues," inspired by the 1985 film Clue, Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dule Hill) are invited to a mysterious party at a historic Santa Barbara mansion by Billy Lipps, a rock star whom Shawn and the Santa Barbara Police Department sent to prison five years earlier for murder. When a deadly crime is committed, five suspects emerge: the Butler, the Groupie, the Manager, the Author and the Host.
The Hollywood Reporter debuts a scene from Wednesday's hour, wherein Shawn and Gus, with the help of SBPD's Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) and Juliet (Maggie Lawson), investigate a dead body in Billy Lipps' abode. "Great Scott!" original Clue castmember Christopher Lloyd exclaims. Lesley Ann Warren and Martin Mull co-star, along with Tears For Fears’ Curt Smith and Garrett Morris.
As USA Network announced earlier this month, viewers on both coasts will be able to vote for the episode's ending, determining who they think the murderer is using the following hashtags on Twitter: #PsychButlerDDit, #PsychGroupieDDit, #PsychManagerDDit, #PsychAuthorDDit and #PsychHostDDit.
Real-time poll results will be displayed during both coasts' broadcasts of the episode.
Psych's 100th episode airs at 10 p.m. Wednesday on USA Network.
