The actors will reprise their roles from Season 1’s “The Dead Body” in which Will (Meyer) makes a deal with Jake (Angel) to get rid of bullies who have been targeting him. The episode will air on the series’ upcoming third season.
“Of course, we want strong acting abilities, but we also want to work with kids who have and bring a real sense of adventure,” The Hub’s Programming SVP Donna Ebbs tells The Hollywood Reporter of the castings. “These are fun shows to make and it's great to find talented young actors who really want to have a good time working with us on the series.”
R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour presents a new story and cast in each episode. Guest actors have included: Debby Ryan (Jessie), Dylan Minnette (Awake), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Dakota Goyo (Real Steel), Zachary Gordon (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), and Frankie Jonas (Jonas).
“The Haunting Hour series gives kids a chance to explore chills and thrills that just aren't being made for them anywhere else but here at The Hub,” Ebbs says of attracting the series’ guest stars. “That not only goes for the viewers, but for the actors too. These are unique scripts that they can really sink their teeth into -- sometimes literally.”

Meyer stars in the titular role of Adam Young on Mr. Young. He recently had to drop out of playing Stilson on the movie adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s The Ender’s Game due to scheduling conflicts. This will be Meyer’s fourth time back on The Hub series.
Angel just wrapped on the pilot for USA’s cop drama, Common Law. He’s best known for playing Derek on MTV’s My Super Psycho Sweet 16 Parts 1 and 2. His TV credits also include CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Big Time Rush, and four episodes of The Haunting Hour.
Meyer is represented by The Gersh Agency and Play Management. Angel is repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group, Play Management, Ovadia Talent, and Ginsburg Daniels.
R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour airs Saturdays at 5 p.m. on The Hub.
