Royal Pains has snagged Better With You star Joanna Garcia for multiple episodes, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

When the USA Network medical drama returns next year to finish its third season, Garcia will appear as Dr. Nina Greene, a nephrologist who may have been a former child star. As TVLine first reported, her character's past will be uncovered when professional golf player Jack O'Malley (Tom Cavanagh) presses her.

Garcia starred on the ABC comedy Better With You for one season, but prior to that, starred in Privileged, Gossip Girl and Reba.

Royal Pains ended its summer run at the end of August.
