'Royal Pains' Actress to Guest Star on 'Rules of Engagement' (Exclusive)
Anna George has booked one episode on CBS' midseason comedy.
Royal Pains actress Anna George is getting maternal on veteran CBS comedy Rules of Engagement.
George will guest star in one episode as Timmy's (Adhir Kalyan) mother, Varsha, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively. Additional details on her character were not provided.
In May, CBS brought back Rules of Engagement for a 13-episode seventh season, when it will reach the landmark 100-episode mark. The half-hour comedy has proven to be a steady ratings performer, no matter where the network has placed it on its schedule.
George has recurred on USA's Hamptons-set medical drama Royal Pains as Rubina Katdare, and guest starred in several iterations in the Law & Order franchise and Sex and the City. She will also appear in the feature Indelible and counts The Lovely Bones as among her big-screen credits.
Rules of Engagement returns to CBS' schedule in midseason.
