Sarah Michelle Gellar Talks 'Ringer' on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (Video)
The CW actress also spoke about the trials of being a mother.

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s long-awaited return to television seems to have been worth the wait. Not only will fans finally see the return of the actress to the tube on The CW’s Ringer, but they’ll get double the dose because she’ll be playing twin sisters on the drama.
“I play both of [the sisters]. I have the most excellent co-star, me,” the actress said on Monday on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Gellar will play twin sisters Bridget and Siobhan. Bridget is a former addict who has gotten into some deep trouble after witnessing a crime. She runs away and meets up with her sister Siobhan. Siobhan seems to have it all, with a luxurious life, and a handsome husband. However, when Siobhan disappears, Bridget decides to take her place, and discovers her sister’s life was not as it seems.
“The New York Post had the best review of the show … it said, “Bridget’s a ho and Siobhan’s a bitch,” she told Fallon. “And I thought it was the best description of the show I’ve ever read.”
Gellar also spoke to Fallon about the challenges of motherhood – namely dealing with poop. The 34-year-old told Fallon that her daughter, Charlotte, has been having “some issues with poop.”

“She does this thing, she likes to take her diaper off anyway she can at night. Like if she poops at all in her diaper, she doesn’t want it on anymore, which I kind of understand. I would not myself want to sit in a diaper full of poop.”
The CW drama co-stars Nestor Carbonell, Ioan Gruffudd and Kristoffer Polaha. Ringer will premiere on The CW on September 13, 2011.
