'The Secret Circle' Co-Stars Tease Bad Influences and a 'Heartbreaking' Episode (Videos)
Phoebe Tonkin and Jessica Parker Kennedy reveal to THR some nuggets from future episodes on the CW's witch drama.
The Secret Circle already launched, but not to worry, here's a chance to learn about a few of the bewitching characters on the supernatural witch drama, airing Thursday nights after The Vampire Diaries.
Australian actress Phoebe Tonkin portrays Faye, a complicated soul who has family issues -- and she's a witch. As the series goes on, that will all be explored. "We're going to see where Faye comes from, having a look at her relationship with her mother (Natasha Henstridge), which is not great," Tonkin tells The Hollywood Reporter. "Her mother is a very bad influence on Faye."
Adds Tonkin, "Now that she's got these powers that are actually hurting people, she's starting to realize that what she's doing maybe isn't so great, but she's still going to be a bad girl."
Co-star Jessica Parker Kennedy, who plays fellow witch and Faye's best friend Melissa, teased an upcoming episode to THR, "Episode five, I have a really, really exciting episode. Every scene I shot, I was very excited to be a part of."
She added, "I go through some serious crap, let's just say that. It's heartbreaking and scary and wonderful, all at the same time."
The Secret Circle airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on the CW.
