Seth Meyers Sets Guests for First New Year's Eve Special

Jennifer Lawrence, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Leslie Jones are slated to appear.

Seth Meyers is enlisting a few A-list friends to help him close out 2016.

Jennifer Lawrence, new Celebrity Apprentice host Arnold Schwarzenegger and Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones will appear on his inaugural Late Night New Year's Eve special.

Additionally, Kelly Clarkson will stop by for a special performance of "It's Quiet Uptown" from The Hamilton Mixtape.

The special was first announced in January when NBC renewed Meyers' deal through 2021. Meyers' hour-long special will be followed by New Year's Eve With Carson Daly, now going into its 14th year. Guests for Daly's special include his Voice colleagues Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys.

Meyers' special caps off a big year for Late Night, which went live several times throughout the year as part of the Saturday Night Live alum's coverage of the presidential election. He also traveled to Washington, D.C., for a special week of pre-election shows in the fall.

Late Night With Seth Meyers New Year's Eve Special will air Saturday, Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
