Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Watson (Martin Freeman) are going old school.

The pair are looking decidedly 1800s in a new photo from the upcoming Sherlock Christmas Special, which is set to take place in the Victorian era.

The BBC special has had fans scratching their heads since late 2014, when a photo of Cumberbatch and Freeman showed the pair rocking Victorian-era clothing. Executive producer Steven Moffat revealed in March it would be a stand-alone actually set in Victorian times, unlike the modern day reimagining.

Stay tuned to The Live Feed for more from Sherlock, including coverage of Thursday's Comic-Con panel, which will feature executive producers Moffat and Sue Vertue and actor Rupert Graves (Lestrade).

Sherlock airs on Masterpiece on PBS in the U.S. No date has been set for the special.
