Shepard Fairey, Other Graffiti Artists to Guest Star on 'The Simpsons'
The March 4 episode will also feature Ron English, Kenny Scharf and Robbie Conal.
The Simpsons, which celebrates its 500th episode on Feb. 19, has had a long history of famous guest stars including musicians, actors and artists. In a new episode on March 4, some of the most famous street artists of the present day will be featured on the Fox animated comedy.

Shepard Fairey, who designed the 2008 Barack Obama hope poster will be joined by Ron English, Kenny Scharf and Robbie Conal as guest characters on an episode airing March 4.
The episode, titled “Exit Through the Kwik-E-Mart” – a play on Banksy’s Oscar-nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop – sees Bart Simpson pursuing a new hobby -- street art. He’s caught by well-known artists Shepard Fairey, Ron English, Kenny Scharf and Robbie Conal, and, much to his surprise, they invite him to have his work shown in a gallery.
STORY: Behind the Scenes Stories From 500 Episodes of 'The Simpsons'
“The Simpsons has been one of my favorite shows since the early 90′s,” wrote Fairey on his website. “The story line is great, and they were kind enough to indulge a couple of my dialogue suggestions designed to make the social commentary more pointed (even though I had to make fun of myself to do so).”
In October 2010, The Simpsons featured a very dark opening sequence designed by British artist Banksy. In it, a tortuous sweatshop is revealed to be responsible for the creation of the show.
