FX's Sons of Anarchy spinoff is adding to its ensemble.

Mayans MC has cast Venezuelan actress Carla Baratta and Narcos alum Maurice Compte, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The Mayans MC pilot is set in a post-Jax Teller world, where EZ Reyes (JD Pardo), a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the Cali-Mexi border, struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel and his need for respect from the women he loves.

Baratta is set for the series regular role of Carnalita, who, as a child, watched her family die at the hands of the Galindo cartel. Now, streetwise and driven, she protects the lost children orphaned by cartel violence.

Baratta's credits include TV series Prueba de Vida (Proof of Life), in which she played young Mother Teresa, and the web series Bleep, as well as such films as Alabaster and Blessing. She is repped by Spellbound Entertainment and attorney Joe Weiner.

Compte will play a highly regarded DEA agent tasked to bring down Miguel Castillo, the Galindo Cartel kingpin. However, his pursuit of Castillo isn't just his job, it's an obsession, driven by personal demons. If Mayans MC is picked up to series, Compte would recur.

Compte's credits also include From Dusk Till Dawn: The TV Series, Power and Breaking Bad. He is repped by Paradigm, Leverage Management and Stone Genow.

The Mayans MC cast also includes Edward James Olmos, Jacqueline Obradors, John Ortiz, Antonio Jaramillo, Richard Cabral, Clayton Cardenas, Sarah Bolger, Emilio Rivera and Raymond Cruz.

Ordered to pilot in December, Mayans MC follows Sons of Anarchy's successful seven-season run on FX. SOA creator Kurt Sutter and Elgin James co-wrote the pilot. Sutter will executive produce and direct the pilot, which hails from Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions. James is onboard as a co-exec producer.
