Sonya Walger to Co-Star in Shondaland's 'The Catch' in Recasting
ABC's The Catch has completed its recasting.
Lost and Parenthood alum Sonya Walger is boarding ABC's Shondaland drama as a series regular, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. She replaces One Tree Hill's Bethany Joy Lenz, who played the role in the pilot.
The Catch is described as a thriller about Alice Vaughan (The Killing's Mireille Enos), a fraud investigator who is poised to be the victim of a fraud by her fiancé. Between cases, she's determined to find him before it ruins her career.

Walger will step into the role of Zoe, Kieran's (Peter Krause) wife and partner in crime who loves her husband and loves their life — amoral though it may be — and she’s going to hang on tight as she senses him slipping away from her.
The casting completes The Catch's recasting that saw Parenthood star Krause take over the role from newcomer Damon Dayoub.
Hannibal's Jennifer Schuur penned the script for the ABC Studios drama and executive produces alongside Shondaland's Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers. Julie Anne Robinson also exec produces and directed the pilot, which will now be reshot.
Walger joins a cast that also includes Jacky Ido, Jay Hayden, Elvy Yost, Alimi Ballard and Rose Rollins.
Repped by Gersh and Authentic Talent, Walger's credits also include Power, Elementary, Common Law, FlashForward and Lost.
The Catch is her second visit to Shondaland. She previously had a two-episode run on Scandal, playing a law school friend of Olivia and Abby.
