Spike Renews '1000 Ways to Die'
Spike will continue its countdown to 1,000 ways to die.
The male-skewing cable network has renewed docuseries 1000 Was to Die, from Original Productions, for a fourth season.
The original series that re-creates unusual deaths and debunks urban legends was created by Thom Beers has been a consistent performer for the network, averaging 1.6 million viewers in its 10 p.m. Monday slot.
Its third season is up 25 percent among total viewers, 23 percent in men 25-49 and up 108 percent among men 18-24, the cabler's key demographics.
The 13-episode fourth season will premiere in March.
Spike and Original Productions teamed on a graphic novel based on the property this year as well.
