'SpongeBob' Porn Parody, 'SpongeKnob SquareNuts,' Makes Web Splash (Video)

Behold the latest production from director Lee Roy Myers and WoodRocket: SpongeKnob SquareNuts, a disturbing-looking spoof of Nickelodeon's hit cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants. The trailer features a yellow-painted actor in a clunky, crusty SpongeBob costume and a much more svelte woman in the astronaut suit that belongs to Sandy the Squirrel. The film's "plot" seems to hinge on SpongeBob's sudden realization that he appears to be the only sentient sponge around, and thus he must ensure his bloodlines live on. It is, in short, a sponge man in a crisis over his legacy, understanding that we all die one day and panicking that he does not want to do so alone.

Maybe we're reading a bit much into this.

Myers, who is in some ways the James Franco of actual porn, has pioneered the pop culture porn parody, with plainly titled XXX takes on The Godfather, 30 Rock, Entourage and many others and more creatively named spoofs on Katy Perry (titled Katy Pervy), Mythbusters (Milfbusters) and The Honeymooners (The Honeymoaners). He also made a Golden Girls porn parody, so he caters to all interests.
